United Paragon Mining Corporation (UPMC) is a Philippine-based company engaged in the exploration, development, exploitation, recovery and sale of gold. The Company's principal mining operation was the Longos Mine at Paracale, Camarines Norte but in November 2003, the Company decided to suspend further drilling in Longos. Another prospective area is San Mauricio in Jose Panganiban as an exploration target for the Company. The Company has plans of continuing exploration drilling in San Mauricio once the necessary clearance from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources is secured. As of April 11, 2011 The Company was still in discussion with prospective investors showing interest in its mining operations and further development of Longos Mine.
