Business Description:

ZCI Limited operates in the Copper ores sector. ZCI Limited (ZCI), formerly Zambia Copper Investments Limited, is a Bermuda-based holding company. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in copper production, and exploration and development of minerals. Its projects include Mowana Mine, the Thakadu Project and Matsitama Project. The Mowana Mine is located in the north-eastern portion of Botswana and the Matsitama Project is located in the southern boundary of the Mowana Mine. Its Mowana mine is a copper-producing open pit. Since August 2009, the Company's Mowana Mine produced 8,921 million tons of concentrate, at an average concentrate grade of 25.79% copper for 2,227 million tons of copper. ZCI's subsidiaries include African Copper Plc, Mortbury Limited and Messina Copper (Botswana) (Pty) Ltd. On May 21, 2009, ZCI acquired African Copper Plc (ACU). As of March 31, 2010, ACU held rights for the exploration and development of copper deposits in the Botswana area.
