The Company owns such subsidiaries as Exide Technologies Recycling SL, Exide Technologies Electronica SL, Exide Technologies Lda, Exide Technologies Recycling II Lda and Emacel. As of March 31, 2009, the Company's majority shareholder was Exide Transportation Holding Europe SL, with 95.79% of its interests.
