Haldex AB operates in the Motor vehicle parts and accessories sector. Haldex AB is a Sweden-based provider of technology solutions to the global vehicle industry. The Company's operations are divided into three business areas: The Commercial Vehicle Systems business area, which provides brake systems for heavy trucks, trailers and buses; The Hydraulic Systems business area, which offers gear and georotor pumps, hydraulic power packs and high-density hydraulic hybrid systems, among others, and The Traction Systems business area, which delivers electronically controllable systems for all-wheel-drive systems for cars, known as AWD systems. On January 31, 2011, the Company divested the Traction Systems division to BorgWarner, Inc. Haldex AB has a global market presence, with a number of subsidiaries in Sweden, Poland, Belgium, Italy, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Canada, Brazil, India and China, among others.
