Business Description:
Segro Plc operates in the Real estate investment trusts sector. SEGRO plc is a provider of business space servicing over 1,700 customers across a range of industry sectors and geographies. The Company's portfolio comprises of industrial assets concentrated in and around major business centers and transportation hubs, such as airports, ports and motorway intersections. SEGRO is a real estate investment trust (REI T). In June 2010, the Company acquired a 50 % interest in the Airport Property Partnership (APP). APP is a joint venture with Aviva Investors, established to invest in industrial properties within five miles of the major the United Kingdom airports. In September 2011, the Company sold six industrial estates in Greater London. In February 2012, the Company and Moorfield Real Estate Fund II's joint venture, United Kingdom Logistics (Jersey) Limited Partnership, acquired the United Kingdom Logistics Fund.
