Business Description:
ZincOx Resources PLC operates in the Lead and zinc ores sector. ZincOx Resources plc (ZincOx) is engaged in the evaluation of and production from, zinc bearing material. The Company acts as a recycling, development and holding company. The Company has three projects: mining, recycling and refining. As of November 11, 2011, the Company had two zinc oxide deposits: Jabali, in Yemen and Shaimerden, in Kazakhstan. The Shaimerden zinc oxide deposit is situated in northern Kazakhstan, some 300 kilometers south west of the city of Kostanai. The Jabali zinc carbonate deposit lies in mountainous desert terrain about 110 kilometers east of Sana'a, the capital of Yemen. The deposit contains a mineable reserve of 8.7 million tons of ore. In recycling project it is engaged in recycling of steel scrap. In refining, the Company focuses to operate zinc electro-refinery. During the year ended December 31, 2010, the Company formed two wholly owned subsidiary ZincOx Resources (Korea) Ltd and ZincOx (Korea) Ltd.
