Weatherly International plc operates in the Lead and zinc ores sector. Weatherly International plc is a United Kingdom-based holding company. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in mining, and production of base metals, primarily copper. The Company owns five copper mines, as well as a number of development projects in Namibia and elsewhere in Africa. It owns a concentrator at Tsumeb and associated tailings project at Tsumeb. On March 24, 2010, the Company sold its subsidiary Namibia Custom Smelters (Pty) Ltd and associated fixed assets owned by Ongopolo Mining Limited to Dundee Precious Metals Inc (DPM), which consists of the smelter business. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010 (fiscal 2010), the Company also sold its Kombat mine. Its subsidiaries include Weatherly (SL) Limited, WM Exploration Limited and Weatherly (Namibia SL) Limited.
