Telit Communications PLC operates in the Communication services sector. Telit Communications Plc (Telit) is engaged in developing, manufacturing and marketing communication modules, which enable machines, devices and vehicles to communicate, through cellular wireless networks. The Wireless Solutions business unit (TWS) designs, develops, manufactures and sells cellular global system for mobile communications (GSM)/general packet radio service (GPRS)/code division multiple access (CDMA)/ universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) modules and solutions to the machine-to-machine (m2m) application markets. The subsidiaries of the Company include Telit RF Technology S.A.S., Telit Wireless Solutions Srl, Telit Communications SpA, Telit Wireless Solutions GmbH, Telit Wireless Solutions Inc. and Telit Wireless Solutions Ltd. In March 2011, the Company completed the acquisition of Motorola m2m from Motorola Solutions Inc. On July 2011, the Company acquired GlobalConect Ltd.
