Business Description:

Vectura Group PLC operates in the Pharmaceutical preparations sector. Vectura Group plc and its subsidiaries (Vectura) develops inhaled therapies principally for the treatment of respiratory diseases. Vectura's products target diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The Company's pharmaceutical business consists of the research, development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products. Vectura has six products marketed by its partners and a portfolio of drugs in clinical and pre-clinical development. The Company's products include VR315 EU, VR315 US & RoW, VR632 EU VR632 US & RoW, and VR506. Vectura has development collaborations and license agreements with several pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis, Sandoz (the generics arm of Novartis), Baxter and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Novartis commenced Phase III studies with QVA149 in May 2010. In April 2011, the Company completed the Phase III trial for NVA237.
