Walt Disney Co Company Snapshot
Walt Disney Co operates within the Television broadcasting stations sector. In addition to historical fundamental analyses, the complete report available to purchase compares Disney with three other radio and television broadcasters in North America: Twenty-First Century Fox Inc (2017 sales of $28.50 billion of which 57% was Cable Network Programming), Viacom, Inc. ($13.26 billion of which 76% was Cable/Media Networks), and SKY PLC ($16.44 billion of which 100% was Television Services).

Sales Analysis. During the year ended September of 2017, sales at Disney were $55.14 billion. This is a decrease of 0.9% versus 2016, when the company's sales were $55.63 billion. Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 12.6% decline in Consumer Products and Interactive Media, from $5.53 billion to $4.83 billion. There were also decreases in sales in Media Networks (down 0.8% to $23.51 billion) and Studio Entertainment (down 11.2% to $8.38 billion) . However, these declines were partially offset by the increase in sales of Theme Parks and Resorts (up 8.5% to $18.42 billion) .
