FMC Corporation Company Snapshot
FMC Corporation operates in the Agricultural chemicals sector. In addition to historical fundamental analyses, the complete report available to purchase compares FMC with three other manufacturers of fertilizers and agricultural chemicals in North America: Scotts Miracle-Gro Co (2015 sales of $3.02 billion of which 90% was Global consumer), UPL Ltd ($1.97 billion of which 96% was Agro Activity), and CF Industries Holdings, Inc. ($4.31 billion of which 35% was Amonia).

Sales Analysis. FMC reported sales of $3.28 billion for the year ending December of 2015. This represents a decrease of 18.9% versus 2014, when the company's sales were $4.04 billion. The sales level in 2015 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2010, FMC had sales of $3.12 billion. Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 77.0% decline in Lithium, from $1.04 billion to $238.10 million. There were also decreases in sales in Health and Nutrition (down 5.2% to $785.50 million) . However, these declines were partially offset by the increase in sales of Agricultural Products (up 3.6% to $2.25 billion) .
