This was the fifth consecutive year of sales increases at Hologic (and since 2011, sales have increased a total of 58%). Sales of Gyn Surgical saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 17.1% in 2016, from $335.80 million to $393.10 million. Not all segments of Hologic experienced an increase in sales in 2016: sales of Skeltal Health fell 4.4% to $89.90 million.
