The Group's principal activity is to offer a selection of music-licensed and music-influenced apparel, accessories and gift items for young men and women principally between the ages of 12 and 22. It is a mall-based specialty retailer operating the Hot Topic and Torrid store concepts. Torrid offers a selection of apparel, lingerie, shoes and accessories centered around various lifestyles for plus-size females between the ages of 15 and 29. The Group operated 681 Hot Topic stores throughout the United States and Puerto Rico and 159 Torrid stores in 36 states. It also sell merchandise on two websites, http://www.hottopic.com and http://www.torrid.com.
