Sales of China/asia Pacific saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 22.7% in 2016, from $2.40 billion to $2.94 billion. Not all segments of Starbucks experienced an increase in sales in 2016: sales of Emea fell 7.5% to $1.12 billion. Starbucks also experienced decreases in sales in All Other Business Units (down 0.3% to $524.30 million) .
