Sales at ViaSat have increased during each of the previous five years (and since 2011, sales have increased a total of 77%). Sales of Government Systems saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 13.4% in 2016, from $535.55 million to $607.46 million. ViaSat also saw significant increases in sales in Satellite Services (up 11.9% to $559.23 million) . Not all segments of ViaSat experienced an increase in sales in 2016: sales of Commercial Networks fell 27.8% to $250.74 million.
