Sales of Mining saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 47.3% in 2016, from 435.54 billion Chilean Pesos to 641.45 billion Chilean Pesos. Not all segments of Cap SA experienced an increase in sales in 2016: sales of Steel Processing fell 21.2% to 193.83 billion Chilean Pesos.
