Kemira Oyj Company Snapshot
Kemira Oyj operates in the Agricultural chemicals sector. In addition to historical fundamental analyses, the complete report available to purchase compares Kemira Oyj with three other manufacturers of fertilizers and agricultural chemicals in Europe: Uralkaliy PAO of Russia (2016 sales of 151.73 billion Russian Rubles [US$2.65 billion] ), Grupa Azoty Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy SA of Poland (3.35 billion Polish New Zlotys [US$839.41 million] ), and K&S AG which is based in Germany (3.46 billion Euro [US$3.71 billion] of which 51% was Salt).

Sales Analysis. Kemira Oyj reported sales of 2.36 billion Euro (US$2.54 billion) for the year ending December of 2016. This represents a decrease of 0.4% versus 2015, when the company's sales were 2.37 billion Euro. The sales level in 2016 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2011, Kemira Oyj had sales of 2.24 billion Euro. Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 11.6% decline in Oil and Mining, from 350.10 million Euro to 309.50 million Euro. There were also decreases in sales in Municipal and Industrial (down 1.5% to 596.50 million Euro) . However, these declines were partially offset by the increase in sales of Paper (up 2.8% to 1.46 billion Euro) .
