Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 4.9% decline in Performance Chemicals, from 2.19 billion Euro to 2.09 billion Euro. There were also decreases in sales in Performance Polymers (down 4.5% to 3.94 billion Euro) . However, these declines were partially offset by the increase in sales of Advanced Intermediates (up 11.1% to 1.83 billion Euro) and Reconcilliation (up 11.9% to 47.00 million Euro) .
