The Machine Tool segment provides surface grinders. Its overseas operating locations are in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Mainland China and the United States. As of January 31, 2013, the Company had 15 subsidiaries.

Sales Analysis. During the year ended January of 2017, sales at Mitsui High-Tec Incorporated were ¥65.35 billion (US$588.11 million). This is a very small increase of 1.9% versus 2016, when the company's sales were ¥64.10 billion. Despite this increase, sales are still slightly below the level achieved in 2015, when Mitsui High-Tec Incorporated reported sales of ¥65.49 billion.
