Sales Analysis. Seiko Epson reported sales of ¥1.02 trillion (US$9.18 billion) for the fiscal year ending March of 2017. This represents a decrease of 6.2% versus 2016, when the company's sales were ¥1.09 trillion. Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 8.3% decline in Wearable Industrial Products, from ¥164.38 billion to ¥150.67 billion. There were also decreases in sales in Printing Solutions (down 6.7% to ¥686.35 billion) and Visual Communication (down 2.4% to ¥179.64 billion) . However, these declines were partially offset by the increase in sales of Others (up 4.5% to ¥787.00 million) and Eliminations and Corporate (up 1.2% to ¥7.40 billion) .
