This represents a very small increase of 0.6% versus 2015, when the company's sales were ¥1.09 trillion. This was the third consecutive year of growth at Seiko Epson. Sales of Eliminations and Corporate saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 36.5% in 2016, from ¥5.36 billion to ¥7.31 billion. Not all segments of Seiko Epson experienced an increase in sales in 2016: sales of Others fell 6.8% to ¥753.00 million. (However, this segment's sales were only a very small portion of the company's overall sales).
