The sales level in 2016 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2011, Seiko had sales of ¥313.88 billion. Sales of Others saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 8.1% in 2016, from ¥22.42 billion to ¥24.24 billion. Seiko also saw significant increases in sales in Watch Business (up 3.2% to ¥163.13 billion) . Not all segments of Seiko experienced an increase in sales in 2016: sales of System Solutions Business fell 8.1% to ¥19.22 billion. Seiko also experienced decreases in sales in Electronic Device Business (down 2.1% to ¥90.11 billion) .
