Posco operates in the Blast furnaces and steel mills sector. Sales Analysis. Posco reported sales of 53.08 trillion Korean Won (US$47.51 billion) for the year ending December of 2016. This represents a decrease of 8.8% versus 2015, when the company's sales were 58.19 trillion Korean Won. Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 20.5% decline in Construction, from 8.52 trillion Korean Won to 6.77 trillion Korean Won. There were also decreases in sales in Steel (down 5.1% to 26.84 trillion Korean Won) and Trading (down 8.4% to 16.77 trillion Korean Won) and Other (down 12.1% to 2.70 trillion Korean Won) .
