The Company operates in the Sultanate of Oman and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Company holds 30% investment in an associate, Mondi Oman LLC. The Company's major shareholders include Government of the Sultanate of Oman (51%) and Pension Funds and other Funds (33.65%), among others.

Sales Analysis. During the year ended December of 2017, sales at Oman Cement Company SAOG were 57.55 million Omani Rials (US$149.48 million). This is a very small increase of 1.7% versus 2016, when the company's sales were 56.60 million Omani Rials. This was the third consecutive year of growth at Oman Cement Company SAOG.
