CSR Limited (CSR) is engaged in the manufacture and supply of building products in Australia and New Zealand. The Company operates through building products, property and aluminium segments. Its building products include lightweight systems, insulation, inclose facades, bricks, and roofing. Its Property business unit is engaged in the sale of former operating sites by advancing the sites through various stages of the development cycle. In addition, this business is also involved in a small number of large-scale developments in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. The Aluminium business unit relates to its interest in Gove Aluminium Finance Limited, which in turn holds an interest in the Tomago aluminum smelter.

Sales Analysis. CSR Limited reported sales of A$2.21 billion (US$1.72 billion) for the fiscal year ending March of 2020. This represents a decrease of 4.7% versus 2019, when the company's sales were A$2.32 billion. The sales level in 2020 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2015, CSR Limited had sales of A$2.02 billion. Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 6.2% decline in Building Products, from A$1.70 billion to A$1.59 billion. There were also decreases in sales in Aluminum (down 0.9% to A$621.20 million) .
