Sales at Andritz AG appear to have some seasonality: during each of the previous 9 years, sales have been highest during the fourth quarter, which has accounted for between 27.4% and 30.4% of the annual sales. During the year ended December of 2020, sales at Andritz AG were 6.70 billion Euro (US$7.85 billion). This is a very small increase of 0.4% versus 2019, when the company's sales were 6.67 billion Euro. This was the third consecutive year of growth at Andritz AG. The sales level in 2020 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2015, Andritz AG had sales of 6.38 billion Euro. Sales of Pulp and Paper saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 16.4% in 2020, from 2.87 billion Euro to 3.34 billion Euro. Not all segments of Andritz AG experienced an increase in sales in 2020: sales of Metals fell 13.2% to 1.42 billion Euro. Andritz AG also experienced decreases in sales in Hydro Power (down 11.9% to 1.30 billion Euro) and Separation (down 7.6% to 644.13 million Euro) .
