Renk AG Company Snapshot
Renk AG operates in the Speed changers, drives, and gears sector. In addition to historical fundamental analyses, the complete report available to purchase compares Renk AG with three other industrial machinery manufacturers in Europe: MBB SE (2017 sales of 403.10 million Euro [US$494.60 million] ), Feintool International Holding of Switzerland (612.33 million Swiss Francs [US$631.92 million] of which 89% was System Parts), and Alimak Group AB (publ) which is based in Sweden (4.00 billion Swedish Kronor [US$473.00 million] ).

Sales Analysis. Renk AG reported sales of 469.41 million Euro (US$575.96 million) for the year ending December of 2017. This represents a decrease of 5.3% versus 2016, when the company's sales were 495.87 million Euro. The sales level in 2017 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2012, Renk AG had sales of 475.96 million Euro. Contributing to the drop in overall sales was the 25.5% decline in Standard Gear Units, from 97.55 million Euro to 72.72 million Euro. There were also decreases in sales in Vehicle Transmissions (down 5.3% to 149.15 million Euro) . However, these declines were partially offset by the increase in sales of Special Gear Units (up 3.8% to 160.78 million Euro) and Slide Bearings (up 1.0% to 86.77 million Euro) .
