During the year ended September of 2020, sales at Batu Kawan Berhad were 16.08 billion Malaysian Ringgits (US$3.90 billion). This is a very small increase of 0.2% versus 2019, when the company's sales were 16.05 billion Malaysian Ringgits. Despite this increase, sales are still well below the level achieved in 2018, when Batu Kawan Berhad reported sales of 18.97 billion Malaysian Ringgits. Sales of Plantations saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 10.9% in 2020, from 6.39 billion Malaysian Ringgits to 7.09 billion Malaysian Ringgits. Not all segments of Batu Kawan Berhad experienced an increase in sales in 2020: sales of Investment Holding/others fell 11.4% to 255.46 million Malaysian Ringgits. (However, this segment's sales were only a very small portion of the company's overall sales).
