Procter and Gamble reported sales of $70.95 billion
for the
fiscal
year ending
June of 2020.
This
represents
an
increase of 4.8%
versus 2019, when the company's sales were $67.68 billion.
This was the third consecutive year of growth at Procter and Gamble.
The sales level in 2020 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2015, Procter and Gamble had sales
of $76.28 billion.
Sales of Healthcare saw an increase
that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up
9.9% in 2020, from
$8.22 billion to $9.03 billion.
Procter and Gamble also saw significant increases in sales in
Fabric and Homecare (up 7.5% to $23.74 billion)
.
Not all segments of Procter and Gamble experienced an increase in sales in 2020:
sales of Corporate fell 18.4% to $395.00 million.
(However, this segment's sales were only a very small portion of the company's overall sales).
Procter and Gamble also experienced decreases in sales in
Grooming (down 2.1% to $6.07 billion)
