This was the third consecutive year of growth at General Mills. The sales level in 2020 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2015, General Mills had sales of $17.63 billion. Sales of Pet saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 18.4% in 2020, from $1.43 billion to $1.69 billion. General Mills also saw significant increases in sales in North America Retail (up 8.3% to $10.75 billion) . Not all segments of General Mills experienced an increase in sales in 2020: sales of Convenience Stores and Foodservice fell 7.8% to $1.82 billion. General Mills also experienced decreases in sales in Europe and Australia (down 2.5% to $1.84 billion) and Asia and Latin America (down 7.7% to $1.53 billion) .
