Sales Analysis. Kyocera reported sales of $14.76 billion for the fiscal year ending March of 2020. This represents a very small increase of 0.9% versus 2019, when the company's sales were $14.63 billion. This was the fourth straight year of sales growth at Kyocera. The sales level in 2020 was fairly close to the level five years ago: in 2015, Kyocera had sales of $13.85 billion. Sales of Industry Automotive Profile Business saw an increase that was more than double the company's growth rate: sales were up 11.2% in 2020, from $2.83 billion to $3.15 billion. Kyocera also saw significant increases in sales in Communication Business (up 2.4% to $2.33 billion) and Semiconductor Parts Group (up 1.6% to $2.28 billion) and Life Enviroment Business (up 10.9% to $800.16 million) . Not all segments of Kyocera experienced an increase in sales in 2020: sales of Electronic Device Group fell 9.0% to $2.99 billion. Kyocera also experienced decreases in sales in Document Solution Business (down 1.7% to $3.32 billion) and Other Businesses (down 0.3% to $154.48 million) .
